01The agreement
These terms govern use of the Stratum website and, together with your order form, the Stratum product. By using either you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to.
02The service
Stratum provides software agents that perform finance operations tasks on top of your accounting systems within limits you configure. Agents do not initiate payments, file returns, or lock accounting periods. Anything above your configured thresholds requires approval by your users.
03Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your ledger, the thresholds and rules you set, the decisions your users approve, and for reviewing agent output. Stratum prepares; your people and your professional advisers decide. Nothing in the service is tax, legal, or accounting advice.
04Your data
You own your data and everything the agents learn about your business. You may export it in full at any time. We process it only to provide the service and as described in the Privacy Policy.
05Fees
Fees are set out in your order form, billed monthly in advance unless agreed otherwise, and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice when volume changes materially. Design Partner Program terms are set out separately.
06Term and cancellation
Monthly plans continue until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the billing month. We may suspend access for non-payment or misuse after notice. Your export remains available for 30 days after termination.
07Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
08Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Mumbai, unless your order form says otherwise.
