Treasury & cash forecasting

Know your runway every morning, not every quarter.

Balances across every account, a rolling 13-week forecast built from real receivables and payables, and a plain-language note when something moves it. No spreadsheet to maintain.

The problem

Treasury & cash forecasting is the job nobody has time to do well.

The Cash Agent knows where every rupee and dollar is, where it is going, and when it will run out. It consolidates balances across banks and processors, forecasts thirteen weeks forward from the AR and AP ledgers, and tells you plainly what changes the picture.

  • The forecast lives in a spreadsheet nobody updates

It was accurate the week it was built. Since then, three customers paid late and a vendor moved to net-15. The model still says everything is fine.

  • Balances are spread across accounts

Two banks, a payments processor, a corporate card, a reserve. The number that matters is the sum, and nobody has it without logging in five times.

  • Surprises arrive as overdrafts

A big payroll, a tax payment, and a slow customer land in the same week. The warning would have been obvious a month earlier, if anyone had been looking.

What it does

The whole job, not a feature of it.

Everything the Cash Agent handles day to day. Anything material waits for your approval; everything else simply gets done.

  • 01

    Consolidated cash position

Every bank, processor, and card balance in one number, refreshed daily, by entity and currency.

  • 02

    13-week rolling forecast

Built from actual open invoices, scheduled bills, payroll, and recurring items. Re-forecast every time the ledger changes.

  • 03

    Runway and burn

Net burn, gross burn, and months of runway under the current plan — and under the plan where your slowest customer pays late again.

  • 04

    Scenario questions

'What if we hire two engineers in October?' answered from the model, not from a guess.

  • 05

    Movement alerts

A note when the forecast shifts by more than your threshold, with the three items that caused it.

  • 06

    Payment timing advice

Feeds the Payables Agent a cash-aware schedule so bills are paid when the money is there.

How it runs

Connect once. Set the rules. Approve the exceptions.

The agent works inside the systems you already run and never becomes the system of record. Here is the sequence from day one.

  1. 01

    Connect balances

Bank feeds, processors, and cards. Read-only. The agent never holds credentials that can move funds.

  2. 02

    Confirm the recurring picture

Payroll dates, rent, subscriptions, and tax dates. The agent proposes them from history; you confirm.

  3. 03

    Forecast from the ledger

Receivables and payables flow in from the other agents or straight from the books. The forecast updates itself.

  4. 04

    Read the morning note

Position, runway, what changed, what needs a decision. Two minutes to read.

Guardrails

What it will never do. What always waits for you.

Thresholds make the routine automatic and the rest deliberate. These limits are not settings you might forget to enable; they are how the agent is built.

  • Never moves money between accounts. It reads balances; it does not transfer.

  • Never presents a forecast as a certainty. Every number carries its assumptions.

  • Never changes a payment date on its own. Timing advice goes to a human or to the Payables Agent's approval queue.

  • Never shares cash data outside the people you have named.

Waits for your sign-off

  1. 01Any change to recurring assumptions (payroll, rent, tax dates)
  2. 02Scenario plans before they are shared with anyone
  3. 03Who can see the cash position

Each approval arrives with the reasoning attached and is logged whether you approve or decline.

What it learns

The brain is yours. Not ours.

The Cash Agent captures the judgment that usually lives in one person's head and writes it down in plain language. You can read it, correct it, and export it at any time.

Full export, always
  • N01

That your largest customer's invoice always clears 12 days after it is sent, never the stated 30.

  • N02

Which vendors can be paid on the 25th without friction when the month is tight.

  • N03

The seasonal shape of your revenue and when the trough usually lands.

  • N04

How much of the Stripe balance is really yours after refunds and reserves.

Runs on

The systems you already keep.

Read and write through the same APIs your accountant uses. Statuses reflect what is connected today, not what is planned to be.
