Stratum AI builds and implements software that automates finance back office work for businesses: invoicing, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and month end close. We set it up for each client on a paid onboarding call and run it for them on a monthly plan.
Large companies have people who send reminders, code bills, match and close while the owners run the business. We are building that for everyone else: software that does the daily work, a rulebook that keeps your judgment, and you in charge of every approval.

Five things we will not trade away.
- Sell the outcome, not the tool
- Nobody wants another dashboard of unpaid invoices. They want the invoices paid. A job done end to end is worth more than a dashboard that shows it is not done.
- What we learn belongs to you
- Everything we learn about how your business runs is yours: readable, editable and exportable. If the only reason you stay is that leaving is hard, we have failed.
- Routine runs alone, anything material asks
- The line between the two is set by you and enforced in the software.
- Add to what works, replace nothing
- Your books stay. Your accountant stays. Your bank stays. We work on top of them.
- Write down the why
- An action without its reason is a liability. Every action records what it saw and why it acted, at the moment it acts.

- Plain language
- If we cannot explain what was done in one sentence, it should not have been done.
- Honest status
- Building means building. We will tell you what is ready and what is not.
- Your data, your rules
- We ask for the narrowest access, keep the least we can, and export everything on request.
- Hands on
- We onboard every customer ourselves and sit in the approvals inbox with you for the first month.
- Boring is good
- Finance software should be predictable. Limits before features. Logs before dashboards.
03 Who builds it
Two founders in New York.
Aniketh Marian and Prem Shah started three businesses in four countries before Stratum, and watched the same back office eat the same hours in every one of them. Stratum was founded in Bangalore, India, and operates in New York.
